Publication in Science: Methane hydroxylation in zeolites
Together with our collaborators in Stanford, we found a way to control the mechanism of methane hydroxylation in zeolites. These insights are now published in Science.
The conversion of methane to methanol is of increasing interest, but a major challenge today, due to fast deactivation of the active sites in the zeolites. In this work, Benjamin Snyder, Max Bols and coworkers were able to limit this deactivation. Find out how in our article published in Science: "Cage effects control the mechanism of methane hydroxylation in zeolites"
